Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create new business opportunities and markets for chemicals & ingredients that do into personal care, cosmetics & fragrances
- Take P&L ownership by driving sales within United States
- Generate high-quality leads using a variety of methods, such as cold-calling, cold-emailing, attending physical and virtual conferences, and engaging with LinkedIn groups
- Conduct research on potential prospects and manage negotiations and written contracts
- Collaborate with distribution divisions and cultivate relationships with customers
- Develop proposals and presentations to secure new business opportunities and partnerships
- Identify industry trends in the chemical sector to target the right stakeholders
- Manage both the existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities
Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of expertise in chemical sales
- Prior sales experience in either home care or personal care industry is a must
- Previous sales background in chemical distribution is a significant advantage
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities
- Preference to candidates based in New York or New Jersey
- Driven by ambition and a deep passion for Sales.
- Proficiency in interacting with C-level executives and key decision-makers within large companies.
- Self-motivated and dedicated to achieving success.
- Formal education in the chemical field will be a plus
- Entrepreneurial bent of mind, strong techno-commercial acumen, networking, ownership & commitment, and high EQ will all be highly preferred qualities
